Fee Waivers:
Full and partial scholarships are offered for the Junior Sailing and High School Sailing programs through SailMaine, Portland Parks and Recreation, and private donors. Please contact Sailing Master Jeff Cumming (sailmail AT sailmaine DOT org or 650-7878) with questions about scholarships. Do not let financial issues prevent your young sailor from sailing: we can help. You may download the Fee Waiver Application here.
Please print, fill out, and return the above four forms,
with payment, to:
SailMaine High School Sailing
58 Fore Street
Portland, ME 04101
Please note that some experience is required for participation in the Spring season; Fall has both Varsity/J.V. and recreational or "learn to sail" programs.
Please email Sarah Helming, sarah AT sailmaine DOT
org with any questions.
Requirements
Spring Sailing requires the use of a dry suit or wet suit
when required by the coaching staff. Water temps in April
are in the 30's. For safety reasons we cannot allow you to
sail without a dry suit during the spring. Students
are responsible for providing their own dry suit.
Dry suits are NOT required for the fall season. |
