SailMaine adds a new annual series to Casco Bay racing scene this summer -- Master’s Only Fleet Racing, Friday, July 10th through Friday, August 14th. Starts at 5:00 PM, ends at 8:00 PM.

Master’s Only is a series designed for 25+ year olds who still love to throw themselves around in a 420 but don’t want to watch a 19 year old out tack them because they might be rolling harder and more aggressively!

The series will be sailed in the Collegiate 420, a sturdy, relatively high performance 14’ double-handed racing dinghy utilized in our College, High School, summer Junior Programs, and Maine Special Olympics Sailing.  The boats have sails colored for Team Racing and are used for all of our High School and College racing events as well as summer Junior team race events.

You don’t have to come every Friday but we will keep score for those who participate in a minimum of three nights.

The cost to sail in this series is $60 per person. The first Friday of sailing is free for everyone: you can "Try before you buy". You must also complete a registration form before you sail.
